Job summary

LifeGift is seeking an In-House Donation System Specialist to support organ and tissue donation efforts at partner hospitals in the Conroe area. The role emphasizes building relationships and coordinating with hospital staff to improve donation metrics.

The ideal candidate will have a 4-year degree or equivalent healthcare/marketing experience, plus 2+ years in OPO or healthcare, with skills in public speaking, sales, data analysis, and strategic planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or combined total of 5 years education and healthcare/marketing experience.
• Two years of OPO or healthcare experience preferred; ability to interpret clinical information from charts.
• Experience in public speaking, sales/marketing, data analysis, and/or strategic planning preferred.
• Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Engage with physicians, nurses, and staff to facilitate organ/tissue donation and drive process improvements.
• Provide timely onsite responses to organ referrals at assigned hospitals.
• Collaborate with Administrator-on-Call to assess donor referrals and determine next steps after initial evaluation.
• Plan, implement, and deliver training on all aspects of the donation program for hospital staff.
• Determine compassionate, sensitive approaches for discussing donation with potential donor families.
• Travel frequently between hospitals within a designated region; flexibility for non-traditional hours and reliable transportation.
