Job summary

Technologist, Inc. is seeking a Project Planning/Program Development Engineer to support on-site at Cheyenne Mountain SFS and occasionally Peterson SFB, Colorado. The role is full-time and on-site at Cheyenne Mountain, with occasional duties at Peterson SFB.

Benefits are available from day one on the job with a competitive salary. Typical hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or architecture or geotechnical engineering or related field of study.
• At least 5 years as a facility design engineer or construction project manager/ geotechnical construction manager; or 5+ years in DoD project programming and development of programming documents (e.g. DD Forms 1391).
• Experience of five or more years utilizing Microsoft Office suite.
• Ability to successfully pass background check to obtain a secret DoD level clearance

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance and technical support in development of FSRM, NAF, customer-funded programs, and MILCON projects.
• Prepare cost estimates, DD Form 1391s, and other components of the acquisition package for government approval.
• Program up to 3 projects per month.
• Coordinate with governmental personnel to define project requirements and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Follow AFI and Air/Space Force instructions when categorizing project work.
• Determine MILCON Facility Replacement Cost per AFI 32-1032.
• Assess cost basis and investigate data to improve estimate fidelity.
• Complete requirements per AFCEC policies and rules.
• Demonstrate engineering principles to support civil disciplines and project milestones
