Job summary

The primary duty location is Arlington, VA with on-site requirements for Nationwide IT Services, Inc. This Program Manager III will lead a DoD-related program for the National Guard Bureau, overseeing operations, personnel, and deliverables while ensuring compliance with security requirements.

The ideal candidate has extensive DoD program management experience, strong leadership, and the ability to manage complex schedules, risks, and government reporting in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience managing Department of Defense programs and contracts.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and coordinate government requirements.
• Experience in program management, planning, performance monitoring, and reporting.
• Knowledge of DoD training, education, and operational planning.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall program management, leadership, and oversight of contract operations, personnel, and deliverables.
• Serve as the primary contractor management point of contact for Government representatives (COR).
• Coordinate and oversee training, curriculum development, and leadership development support.
• Develop, implement, and maintain SOPs and program processes aligned with SOPs.
• Oversee project management lifecycle documentation, schedules, milestones, and reporting.
• Coordinate development and maintenance of Course Management Task Lists and training schedules.
• Monitor contract performance, identify risks, and recommend corrective actions.
• Support training evaluations, AARs, curriculum reviews, and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with National Guard Bureau stakeholders and other DoD organizations.
• Ensure compliance with DoD policies, security requirements, and performance standards.
• Prepare and present program status reports, briefings, and recommendations to Government leadership.
• Ensure adequate staffing and continuity of services throughout contract performance.
