Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions seeks a Network Controller for on-site support at Scott AFB, IL or Hill AFB, UT. The role provides 24/7 monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident management across a global transport and IP network environment.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in network operations, DoD-focused experience, and an active IAT Level II certification (Security+ CE or equivalent). Clearances required to start. Salary ranges with full benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in network operations, fault management, alarm surveillance, or NOC environments.
• Experience with networking technologies including routers, switches, crypto devices, LAN/WAN, and transport systems (Cisco, Juniper, optical networking preferred).
• Strong understanding of network topologies, routing, and performance management.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (Security+ CE or equivalent) required at start date.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring and troubleshooting network circuits using router commands, alarms, loops, and error analysis.
• Utilizing enterprise network monitoring tools to identify, track, resolve, and elevate network incidents.
• Supporting live global transport and IP network operations in a 24/7 environment.
• Creating, updating, and managing incident tickets using Remedy.
• Researching documentation and network data to resolve monitoring and performance issues.
