Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions seeks Network Controller professionals to support the Defense Information System Network across several US locations. The role covers incident investigation and telecommunications support for critical warfighter networks, with on-site responsibilities at multiple bases.

Applicants should have a High School Diploma (or equivalent) with 3+ years in a relevant tech field and DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 certification. Expect 24/7 shift work and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 baseline certification required prior to start date.
• 3+ years of relevant technical discipline; additional years accepted in lieu of a degree.
• Able to work in a 24/7 shift environment.
• Experience with routers, switches, crypto devices, and related network equipment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct network and telecommunications system incident investigation.
• Identify and document network errors and solutions.
• Analyze alarms to identify potential issues.
• Configure, test, install, troubleshoot, and maintain network devices (firewalls, crypto devices, routers).
• Configure and maintain telecommunication systems including phone systems, voicemail, switches, and VTC hardware.
• Configure MSPP, Promina, ATM, and Optical equipment.
