Job summary

Federal Staffing Solutions Inc. is seeking a Network Controller to support our client at Scott AFB, IL. The role focuses on network event analysis, fault isolation, and incident management in a 24/7 DoD environment.

The ideal candidate holds an active Secret clearance and DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 certification, and brings hands-on experience with routers, switches, and incident response. You will coordinate with teams to maintain SLA compliance.

Qualifications

• Must have DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 baseline certification (Security+ CE, or equivalent).
• Ability to work in a 24/7 operation.
• Experience with alarm surveillance, fault management, LAN/WAN maintenance, performance management.

Responsibilities

• Create and optimize tickets utilizing Remedy.
• Independently triages and manages tickets in respective technology and provides feedback for tickets of concern.
• Analyze network-event data and telemetry to identify patterns and predict potential faults.
• Incident correlation and fault analysis leading to resolution of alarm conditions.
