Job summary

SimVentions, Inc. seeks a Journeyman Cybersecurity Analyst to craft RMF A&A packages, perform continuous monitoring, and conduct system testing for DoD combat systems. On-site role at NSWC Dahlgren, VA, with responsibilities spanning accreditation artifacts, risk assessment, and vulnerability testing.

The ideal candidate has DoD cyber experience, IAT II/III certification, and a background in naval combat systems. Active clearance and strong communication skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Two years of program-specific security engineering experience with Navy afloat/tactical systems.
• Two of five years on Combat Weapons Systems (Aegis, SSDS, Zumwalt) and DoD 8570.01 IAT Level II/III certification.
• Understanding of DoD cybersecurity policies and the ability to communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Author DoD Cybersecurity Assessment and Authorization artifacts.
• Document a system from a cybersecurity perspective using MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Visio.
• Apply DISA STIGs and DoD recommendations.
• Plan, execute and document risk assessments against known vulnerabilities.
• Lead ISSO for security matters related to information systems.
• Perform vulnerability tests using ACAS and similar IA/security tools.
