Prestige Fleet Services in Seattle is seeking an experienced diesel and trailer technician to perform repairs and inspections on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers at customer sites. You will oversee maintenance procedures and DOT inspections, ensuring timely, quality service.

Responsibilities include repairs, parts sourcing, and accurate DOT documentation, with the ability to work extended hours and travel as needed. A valid license and strong organization are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years diesel and trailer repair experience.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Ability to work extended and/or irregular hours including weekends and holidays when needed.
• Ability to use a computer/tablet for electronic processing of work orders including labor hours and status updates.
• 2 years of experience in performing annual federal inspections and brake inspections.
• 2 years of truck/trailer maintenance experience or equivalent education/experience.

Responsabilités

• Perform repairs and inspections on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers (brakes, diagnostics, A/C, electrical, engines, exhaust, etc.).
• Schedule and oversee maintenance procedures and DOT inspections.
• Repair or replace vehicle/trailer components as needed.
• Open and close repair orders on company devices.
• Obtain parts from local vendors and manage inventory on the service truck.
• Accurately complete DOT forms and related documentation in a timely fashion.
