Job summary

Prestige Fleet Services is seeking experienced diesel technicians to perform on-site repairs and inspections for Class 6-8 trucks and trailers at customer locations. Our mobile repair team handles brakes, diagnostics, A/C, electrical, and engine components, with parts procurement and DOT documentation managed on-site.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of diesel/trailer repair experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of diesel and trailer repair experience preferred.
• Communication skills.
• Ability to work extended and/or irregular hours including weekends and holidays when needed.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Self-motivated with excellent organization and planning skills.
• 2 years of experience in performing annual federal inspections and brake inspections.
• 2 years of truck/trailer maintenance and repair or equivalent education/experience.
• Must possess proper tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and inspections on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers (brakes, diagnostics, A/C, electrical, engine, exhaust, after-treatment, lift-gates, tires).
• Schedule and oversee maintenance procedures including DOT inspections.
• Repair/replace vehicle/trailer components.
• Open/close repair orders on company device.
• Obtain parts from local vendors and manage service-truck inventory.
• Accurately complete DOT forms and other documentation.
