Job summary

Global Pacific Support seeks a skilled Mobile Diesel Mechanic to provide on-site repair and maintenance for diesel-powered vehicles and equipment. You will travel to customer locations, diagnose issues, and complete repairs efficiently to minimize downtime.

The role requires strong diesel knowledge, self-motivation, and excellent customer service. Responsibilities include diagnosing problems, performing routine maintenance, and maintaining service records while complying with safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a diesel mechanic, preferably with mobile service experience.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, electrical systems, and heavy-duty vehicle components.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively while on the road.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift heavy equipment and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Willingness to travel frequently and work flexible hours.
• Possession of relevant diesel mechanic certifications is a plus.
• Own tools and reliable transportation are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide mobile repair and maintenance services for diesel engines, transmissions, and related vehicle systems.
• Diagnose mechanical problems accurately and recommend appropriate repairs or replacements.
• Travel to various customer sites as needed, carrying necessary tools and parts.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks including oil changes, brake repairs, and system inspections.
• Communicate effectively with customers about repairs performed, timelines, and costs.
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation for all jobs completed.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Keep up to date with advancements in diesel technology and repair techniques.
