Job summary

Clarke Power Services, Inc. is seeking a Mobile Diesel Technician/Truck Mechanic to service and repair heavy diesel equipment at customer sites. The role requires performing maintenance, diagnosing issues, and operating a service truck on a daily basis.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in diesel mechanics, strong troubleshooting ability, and a background in preventative maintenance. CDL is a plus, with a safety-focused, customer-service driven team environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a heavy duty diesel technician is required.
• Must be able to service and repair engines, drive trains, suspension, electrical and brakes.
• Strong troubleshooting, inspection and preventative maintenance skills.
• Good computer skills and ability to communicate verbally.
• Ability to work independently and perform onsite maintenance at customer locations.

Responsibilities

• Service and repair work on diesel systems and components.
• Troubleshooting and inspections of vehicles and equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Operate the mobile service truck and work at customer sites.
