Job summary

Enlighten seeks a highly motivated DevOps Engineer to join our Fort Meade team. You will deploy and automate cloud infrastructure using Kubernetes on AWS (EKS), build robust CI/CD pipelines, and manage containerized workloads to ensure high reliability.

The role requires strong Linux, Python or Bash, and Terraform/Ansible experience, with on-site work and DoD clearance readiness. Competitive compensation and a $20K sign-on bonus are offered.

Qualifications

• Active TS security clearance currently held or ability to obtain; U.S. Citizenship required.
• 7–9+ years in DevOps or software dev with related degree; or 13+ years with HS diploma.
• Experience with Kubernetes or container orchestration platforms; AWS services (EKS, EC2, S3, etc.) and deployment management.
• Experience with Terraform, Ansible, Git, Flux, and Helm for deployment pipelines and config mgmt.
• Proficient in Python, Bash, or Go; strong problem-solving and terminal skills.
• DoD 8140/8570 certifications (Security+) within 30 days of hire; willingness to work onsite.

Responsibilities

• Support cloud infrastructure deployment in AWS, focusing on EKS and scalability.
• Automate deployment processes and implement CI/CD pipelines for reliability.
• Manage Kubernetes containers and AWS infrastructure; monitor and troubleshoot production systems.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate applications into the operational infra.
• Stay current with tech trends and continually improve infrastructure performance.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
