Job summary

Enlighten in Fort Meade, MD, seeks a highly motivated DevOps Engineer with strong Kubernetes and container orchestration expertise. The role focuses on implementing infrastructure, automating deployments, and ensuring reliability and scalability of cloud-based services.

The ideal candidate will have experience with Bash, Python, Go, and AWS (EKS, EC2, S3) with a background in Big Data solutions. Onsite work at Fort Meade is required, with a comprehensive benefits package and a $20K sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in DevOps or software development with applicable certifications.
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Experience with AWS services (EKS, EC2, S3) and deployment management.
• Experience with Terraform/Ansible for configuration management.

Responsibilities

• Support deployment and cloud infrastructure development in AWS (EKS).
• Automate deployment processes and CI/CD pipelines for reliability and scalability.
• Manage and maintain Kubernetes clusters and AWS infrastructure.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate applications into the infra.
• Monitor production systems, troubleshoot complex issues, ensure high availability.
• Continuously improve tooling and processes for performance and stability.
• Keep up-to-date with new technologies and industry trends.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
