Job summary

Palladyne AI, a U.S.-based defense and industrial technology company, seeks a Desktop Technician to support and maintain the end-user computing environment across the organization. This hands-on role combines hardware deployment, endpoint administration, and workplace technology to ensure employees have the tools they need to be successful.

The ideal candidate enjoys solving technical problems, works directly with users, and supports a variety of technologies in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience supporting end-user hardware and workplace technology environments.
• Experience supporting Windows and macOS operating systems.
• Experience with endpoint management tools such as Intune, Jamf, NinjaOne or similar.
• Working knowledge of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi, VPN).
• Understanding of endpoint security concepts and best practices.
• Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, monitors, printers, peripherals, and software applications.
• Build, configure, deploy, and maintain end-user computer systems and workplace technology.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, OS, and connectivity issues across Windows and macOS.
• Support endpoint management platforms and device provisioning, software deployment, patching, lifecycle management.
• Assist with onboarding activities, workstation setup, and new hire technology orientation.
• Maintain and improve SOPs, documentation, and troubleshooting guides.
• Support endpoint security initiatives, software updates, and system configuration standards.
• Respond to employee requests via phone, email, and ticketing systems with excellent service.
• Participate in projects related to endpoint deployments and workplace technology improvements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
