Job summary

Axiom Technologies is seeking a capable on-site Desktop Support Engineer in Anchorage, AK to deliver hands-on IT support for enterprise clients. You will respond to service requests, troubleshoot desktop systems, laptops, and peripherals, and ensure secure, reliable operations at the client site.

This contract-based, on-demand role requires reliable availability for on-site visits and strong communication with the Service Delivery Team.

Qualifications

• Proficient with Windows desktops and laptops; able to diagnose issues quickly.
• Experience troubleshooting hardware, peripherals, and printers in an on-site setting.
• Basic understanding of LAN, switches, and routers for connectivity issues.
• Ability to work independently in on-site environments and follow client IT policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site desktop and IT support at client locations.
• Troubleshoot Windows desktops, laptops, and peripherals; install/maintain hardware and software.
• Assist with network connectivity issues and basic LAN troubleshooting.
• Document service activities and communicate updates to the Service Delivery Team.
