Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. seeks a Deployment Network Specialist 3 to join the Security and Electronic Systems unit. You will work on-site at customer facilities, performing deployment, testing, and documentation across federal, local, and commercial clients. Domestic and international travel is expected.

Qualifications include a Bachelor in Engineering or 10+ years networking with HS diploma, strong communication, DoD 8140 Intermediate certification, and ability to travel with valid passport.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering Field OR 10+ years networking with high school diploma/GED.
• Strong communication skills and experience using ticketing.
• DoD Manual 8140 Cyberspace Workforce Qualification Certification for Intermediate level Network Operations Specialist DCWF Code 441
• Must hold a valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a passport for international travel.
• Ability to identify cable colors, markings or labels.

Responsibilities

• On-site deployment and pre-installation support.
• Prepare and perform on-site network surveys and infrastructure configuration/testing.
• Maintain documentation and revisions for each deployment; provide feedback for future improvements.
• Travel domestically and internationally as needed.
