Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a Deployment Network Specialist 3 to join our Security and Electronic Systems team. This role is 100% on-site at customer facilities with travel both domestically and internationally.

You will support pre-installation, deployment, and go-live testing, performing on-site surveys, configuring equipment, and creating network diagrams. Strong DoD security knowledge and DoD 8140 certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Top Secret with SCI eligibility is required.
• Bachelor Degree in Engineering and 5+ years networking OR 10+ years networking with HS diploma/ GED.
• Strong communication skills and experience with ticketing systems.
• DoD 8140 Cyberspace Workforce Intermediate level certification.

Responsibilities

• Support Pre-Installation, on-site Deployment and go-live testing.
• Perform on-site network surveys at customer sites.
• Configure and test network equipment; use device CLI for changes.
• Create network diagrams, rack elevations and cable drawings.
• Document deployments and provide feedback for future improvements.
