Job summary

M.C. Dean seeks a Network Technician 2 to join the Security and Electronic Systems unit. You will help design, install, operate, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure and related cabling in support of USAF AETC sites.

Responsibilities include on-site installations, testing, and customer support, with emphasis on safety, documentation, and collaboration with MC Dean Operations Teams.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED is required.
• 4+ years of electronics installation and/or maintenance on multiple systems.
• DoD SECRET Clearance is REQUIRED.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Execute field operations for Base Area Networks at multiple locations.
• Install, configure, test, and troubleshoot network hardware and software.
• Provide technical support to customers and MC Dean Operations Teams.
• Maintain safety compliance per USAF requirements and MC Dean policies.
• Survey and document existing telecom infrastructure and as-built conditions.
