Job summary

Microsoft is seeking a Construction Project Manager (Contract) to deliver large-scale datacenter construction projects through Allegis Global Solutions. You will manage lease construction from lease execution to Ready for Service (RFS) and coordinate diverse teams across engineering, operations, security, and safety.

This role emphasizes safety, quality, schedule adherence, and cost control, with up to 50% travel and on-site work in Dallas, TX.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction-related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in data centers or mission-critical construction.
• Experience managing lease providers and cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
• Familiarity with commercial lease agreements preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage full lifecycle of lease construction projects from lease execution to RFS.
• Oversee lease providers to ensure contract terms and delivery standards.
• Coordinate engineering, operations, security, and EHS teams.
• Lead project meetings and provide status on scope, schedule, and budget.
• Ensure adherence to data center construction standards and best practices.
• Track risks, dependencies, and handoffs across teams.
• Support site selection and assess lease provider capabilities.
• Drive safety initiatives across all project sites.
• Capture lessons learned and implement improvements.
