Job summary

Align is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead on-site data center white space fit-out projects in the Dallas–Fort Worth area. You will coordinate trade contractors, manage sequencing, and ensure safety and quality while meeting schedule and budget targets.

The role requires 5–10+ years of CM experience in mission-critical environments, strong QA/QC expertise, and excellent stakeholder communication. Occasional travel outside Texas is expected.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years of construction management experience in data center environments.
• Experience managing white space fit-out/tenant improvements in colocation or hyperscale data centers.
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, trade coordination, and site management.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple subcontractors and deliver projects on schedule.
• Strong QA/QC knowledge, including inspecting support systems and overhead installations.
• Project management skills including scheduling and budgeting.
• Strong stakeholder and client communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site construction management for data center white space fit-out projects.
• Oversee installation of containment systems, cable tray, ladder rack, and power distribution infrastructure.
• Coordinate with general contractors, subcontractors, and client stakeholders.
• Enforce quality control processes to ensure installations meet design specifications and standards.
• Monitor project schedule, budget, and progress; identify and resolve risks/issues.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and site protocols.
• Review construction drawings, submittals, RFIs, and shop drawings related to supports and overhead systems.
• Support commissioning and handover processes.
