Job summary

Reboot Monkey is seeking an experienced Data Center Technician for a full-time, on-site role in York, US. The position supports mission-critical infrastructure at premier data center facilities, with standard hours and on-call rotation.

Growth opportunities and a benefits package are included. Ideal candidates will have 2+ years in data center or IT infrastructure, solid cabling and server hardware experience, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of data center or IT infrastructure experience.
• Strong cabling skills with Cat5e/6/6a and fiber.
• Experience with server hardware (Dell, HP, Supermicro).
• Professional communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Perform hardware installations, decommissions, and migrations.
• Execute structured cabling (copper and fiber optic).
• Conduct server racking, stacking, and labeling.
• Perform cross-connects and patch panel work.
• Troubleshoot connectivity and hardware issues.
• Document work with photos and notes.
• Coordinate with remote NOC and client teams.
