Job summary

Reboot Monkey is seeking an experienced Data Center Technician for an on-site, full-time role in West Jordan, UT. You will support mission-critical infrastructure at premier data center facilities and participate in on-call rotations as needed.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of data center or IT infra experience, strong cabling skills, and familiarity with server hardware from Dell, HP, or Supermicro. This position emphasizes hands-on work at a busy facility with standard tools and safety

Qualifications

• At least 2 years in data center or IT infrastructure.
• Experience with structured cabling and server hardware.
• Willingness to work on-site with on-call rotation if required.

Responsibilities

• Perform hardware installations, decommissions, and migrations.
• Execute structured cabling (copper and fiber optic).
• Conduct server racking, stacking, and labeling.
• Perform cross-connects and patch panel work.
• Troubleshoot connectivity and hardware issues.
• Document all work with photos and detailed notes.
• Coordinate with remote NOC and client teams.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness of equipment rooms.
• Adhere to data center policies and change control processes.
