Job summary

Unisys Corporation is seeking an experienced On-Site Service Engineer (OSE) to provide hands-on support for enterprise data center servers and hardware environments, including next-generation AI infrastructure.

This is a hands-on server hardware and break/fix role with direct experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining enterprise server hardware in data centers or customer sites.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on experience supporting enterprise servers and data center hardware.
• Direct, hands-on work on server components (memory, CPUs, power, storage, PCIe).
• Familiarity with Linux or similar operating systems.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and travel to customer sites.
• Strong troubleshooting and independent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate technical issues clearly to customers and teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site support for Dell PowerEdge and other enterprise servers.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware failures to minimize downtime.
• Install, remove, replace, and configure server components.
• Troubleshoot BIOS/firmware, hardware diagnostics, and OS issues.
• Run firmware updates and use server management tools (iDRAC, etc.).
• Document service activities and escalation details accurately.
• Participate in on-call rotations and field service activities.
