Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Data Center Quality Assurance Manager to be on site in McGregor, TX, leading inspectors and ensuring conformity with construction contracts and the client’s quality program.

The role requires extensive experience in construction quality management, reports on progress, and coordination with the owner to ensure project success and timely issue resolution. Strong leadership and communication on site are essential.

Qualifications

• BA/BS plus eight years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
• 15 years of experience with construction and/or quality management
• CQM or other professional certifications
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or architecture.

Responsibilities

• Lead team of inspectors reviewing workmanship, materials, and equipment for conformity with contracts.
• Maintain a list of all defects and omissions.
• Monitor the contractor’s quality program for conformance to the plan.
• Notify CLIENT of test failures and plan corrective actions.
• Punchlist oversight and participate in Zero Defect walkthrough.
• Provide input for weekly and monthly progress reports.
• Represent the Client and ensure successful project execution on site.
• Coordinate client outage/shutdown procedures.
