Job summary

3C Industries seeks a hands-on Project Manager to lead complex construction in active data center environments, coordinating field teams, clients, and stakeholders. You will oversee budgets, schedules, safety, and quality to ensure work is delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

The role requires traveling 2-3 times per month for multi-day site visits and meetings, with a focus on delivering projects from preconstruction through closeout in accordance with contract documents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5-10 years of progressive experience in project management within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes including estimating, scheduling, budgeting, contract administration, and quality assurance.
• Familiarity with PEMB structural systems, including coordination with manufacturers and managing onsite assembly, is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders and maintain strong client relationships.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and construction management software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and advanced presentation skills.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, contracts, specifications, and schedules.
• Proven leadership and team development skills.
• Willingness and ability to travel 2-3 times per month for multi-day site visits and meetings.

Responsibilities

• Lead Field Operations: serve as the primary on-site liaison between ownership, architects, engineers, and subcontractors; oversee all field construction activities.
• Drive Project Execution: manage all phases of project delivery from preconstruction through closeout; ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Manage Project Teams: build and lead high-performing teams with clear expectations and regular coaching.
• Maintain Client Relationships: act as the client’s trusted advisor with proactive communication and transparency.
• Control Project Budget & Forecasting: oversee budgets, monitor cost reports, and manage the monthly Pay Application process.
• Coordinate Scheduling & Logistics: develop and manage the master project schedule and coordinate labor, materials, and subcontractors.
• Enforce Safety & Quality Standards: promote safety and oversee quality control to meet design intent.
• Lead Risk & Contract Management: identify risks and support contract negotiations and subcontractor buyout.
• Support Field Engineering & Technical Processes: guide construction methods and ensure documentation is reviewed.
• Champion Innovation & Technology: promote new technologies and sustainable practices to improve efficiency.
• Represent 3CI in the Community: support outreach and strengthen public presence.
• Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
