Job summary

Leidos in the United States is seeking a Data Center Network Engineer to support the AFNCR IT Services program. You will deploy, configure, and maintain core data center networking hardware and security controls in a fast-paced DoD environment.

You will work with Cisco Nexus, Catalyst Center, ISE, F5 LTM/GTM, RSA Authentication Manager, TACLANE HAIPE, and SNMP-based monitoring to ensure high availability and strong cyber posture across classified and unclassified networks.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance is required.
• Experience configuring and troubleshooting Cisco switches and routers.
• Proficiency with Cisco DNA Center, ISE, and F5 LTM/GTM.
• Experience with RSA Authentication Manager and TACLANE HAIPE encryption.

Responsibilities

• Manage, deploy, configure, and maintain core data center hardware.
• Maintain rack layouts, port maps, and asset tracking databases.
• Use Cisco DNA Center and ISE for policy enforcement and device profiling.
• Configure Cisco Nexus switches and F5 load balancers.
• Administer RSA Authentication Manager to support MFA.
• Monitor performance with SNMP-based tools and troubleshoot IPTV platforms.
• Implement DoD cyber measures and update SOPs for data center ops.
• Coordinate with DISA, 26 NOS, and other teams during outages.
• Participate in DR planning and routine system backups.
