Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Data Center Network Engineer to support the Air Force National Capital Region IT Services program at Joint Base Andrews, MD. You will deploy, configure, and sustain core data center networking gear, including Cisco Nexus, Catalyst DNA Center, ISE, and F5 load balancers in a secure, on-site environment.

Qualified candidates will hold a DoD Secret clearance, relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA/CCNP, CySA+, or CISSP), and hands-on experience with TACLANE HAIPE, RSA

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of relevant experience, or Master’s with 6+ years.
• Active DoD Secret clearance.
• DoD 8140 IAT Level II or III baseline certifications (e.g., Security+ CE, CCNA Security, CySA+, CISSP).
• Professional-level network certification (CCNA/CCNP/F5-CA or equivalent).
• Experience configuring enterprise-grade Cisco switches and routers.
• Hands-on with Cisco DNA Center, Cisco ISE, and F5 LTM/GTM.
• Experience with RSA Authentication Manager.
• Experience configuring TACLANE HAIPE devices.
• Knowledge of DISA STIGs for network devices.
• Familiarity with SNMP monitoring and IPTV multicast.

Responsibilities

• Manage, deploy, configure, and maintain core data center hardware (switches, routers, server NICs).
• Maintain rack layouts, port maps, and asset databases.
• Use DNA Center and ISE for policy enforcement and device profiling.
• Configure Cisco Nexus switches and F5 LTM/GTM.
• Support MFA with RSA Authentication Manager.
• Monitor performance with SNMP tools (Cacti) and troubleshoot IPTV multicast.
• Install TACLANE HAIPE devices for data-in-transit security.
• Develop SOPs for data center operations aligned with DoD directives.
• Coordinate with DISA and 26th NOS for outages and remediation.
• Participate in DR planning and backups; support on-call rotation.
