Job summary

Nscale is seeking an experienced MEP Manager to act as the on-site technical authority for all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems on a large-scale data centre build. This full-time, on-site role requires coordinating with the GC, MEP subs, and vendors to meet owner standards and project deadlines.

You will drive pre-construction through commissioning, manage safety, and ensure quality across critical power and cooling systems in a dynamic construction environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in MEP construction or commissioning, with data centre or mission-critical exposure.
• Strong knowledge of critical power and cooling infrastructure (UPS, switchgear, generators, CRAC/CRAH).
• Experience with BIM coordination and 3D clash workflows (Revit MEP, Navisworks).
• Proficient in reviewing submittals, RFIs, and commissioning logs; able to read complex drawings and P&IDs.

Responsibilities

• Serve as on-site owner’s representative for all MEP scopes (electrical, mechanical, plumbing).
• Lead MEP coordination meetings and BIM clash reviews; plan subcontractor work.
• Monitor installation sequencing, quality, and code compliance across fronts.
• Coordinate integration with IT/low-voltage, raised floors, and structural elements.
• Oversee startup, pre-commissioning, FATs/SATs participation, and NCR resolution.
• Provide regular progress summaries to the General Construction Manager and owner team.
