Job summary

Cboe Global Markets in Secaucus, NJ is seeking a Data Center Engineer to support mission-critical infrastructure, overseeing datacenter hardware, cabling and connectivity. This hands-on role requires strong MAC experience and the ability to work in a fast-paced, on-site environment.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in datacenter support, knowledge of copper/MMF/SMF cabling, and excellent communication skills. The position includes on-call responsibilities and shift flexibility.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ datacenter experience in colocation environments.
• Proficient in cable plant design, testing and troubleshooting.
• Experience with MAC work at large scale.
• Comfortable lifting up to 75 lbs and working in data centers.
• Strong written and verbal communication, team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain servers, network devices, storage systems and cabling.
• Perform structured cabling testing, routing, labeling and documentation.
• Execute daily MAC tasks including installs, moves, and rack/cable upgrades.
• Monitor environmental conditions and escalate issues as needed.
• Coordinate with Engineering, NOC and vendors for incidents and changes.
• Contribute to datacenter standards and on-call rotations.
