Job summary

Upchurch is seeking a General Superintendent to lead all field operations on mission-critical data center projects. This on-site role in Jackson, MS will drive safety, schedule adherence, quality, and client satisfaction from startup through turnover.

You will mentor a team of Superintendents, Foremen, and subcontractors while coordinating with Project Management, Engineers, and Owners to execute complex construction with excellence.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma; Bachelor's degree preferred in construction management or engineering.
• Minimum of 10 years in commercial or industrial construction.
• At least 5 years as Superintendent or higher on large projects.
• Experience delivering mission-critical data center, industrial, healthcare, or manufacturing projects.
• Strong understanding of structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and civil systems.
• Proficiency with construction management software.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for all field operations on data center projects.
• Mentor Superintendents, Foremen, subcontractors, and craft personnel.
• Develop and implement construction execution plans aligned with schedules.
