Job summary

Amazon Inc. is seeking a Data Center Construction Manager to lead construction project management for new builds and capital projects.

You will own scope, schedule, budget, and quality while coordinating with Operations, Networking, Controls, Security, and Commissioning to deliver resilient data centers. You will be on-site daily, managing vendors, driving cost efficiency, and guiding teams through bidding, construction, and hand-offs to customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience moving new design concepts from exploration to deployment.
• Experience in MS Excel, Word, and Windows OS.
• Experience with power management and power monitoring systems.
• 5+ years of project management in data centers or equivalent infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Direct interface with general contractors during bidding, award, and closeout.
• Negotiate bids and evaluate proposals with detail and accuracy.
• Create construction project scope and requests for proposals.
• Perform financial analysis of construction projects.
• Manage projects to increase data center resiliency.
• Review construction documents and change orders for quality control.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
