Job summary

AECOM Hunt is seeking an experienced Safety Supervisor to join our Dallas, TX team. The role focuses on managing and implementing ES&H programs, supervising safety staff, and collaborating with subcontractors and owners to foster a culture of safety.

The ideal candidate has extensive construction safety experience, OSHA 30, and proven incident investigation skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and a demonstrated ability to communicate across project teams.

Qualifications

• BA/BS Occupational Safety or relevant curriculum and 6 years of demonstrated experience in construction safety or AA/AS and 8 years of relevant experience or HSD/GED and 10 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
• OSHA 30
• 6+ years of construction safety experience.
• Experience in investigating workplace accidents, incidents, and near-misses, and preparing detailed reports with corrective actions.
• Experience with OCIP and CCIP.
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Under minimal supervision, manages, develops and implements ES&H programs.
• Supervises Environmental Safety and Health Specialists assigned to the same project(s).
• Performs work, which involves a variety of functions that require a broad range of expertise and excellent communication skills.
• Works closely with subcontractors, owners and other team members to ensure a culture of safety.
