Job summary

SimVentions seeks a Journeyman Cybersecurity Analyst to join the on-site team at NSWC Dahlgren, VA. You will craft RMF A&A packages, perform continuous monitoring, and conduct system testing to strengthen defense of cutting-edge systems.

Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is required for this role. You will apply DoD policies, write documentation, and collaborate to keep systems compliant and secure.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years program specific security engineering experience with Navy afloat/tactical systems or five (5) years general security engineering experience.
• Two (2) of the five (5) years on Combat Weapons Systems (Aegis, SSDS, Zumwalt or similar).
• IAT Level II or III certification for ISSO/ISSE roles.

Responsibilities

• Author DoD Cybersecurity Assessment and Authorization artifacts.
• Document a system from a Cybersecurity perspective using MS Office tools.
• Plan, execute and document risk assessments against known vulnerabilities.
• Apply DISA STIGs and DoD security policy requirements.
• Lead as ISSO for specific information systems.
