Job summary

SimVentions is seeking a Journeyman Cybersecurity Analyst for on-site work at NSWC Dahlgren, VA. The role focuses on RMF A&A, continuous monitoring, and system testing to secure advanced combat systems. The position requires an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and US citizenship.

Candidates should have DoD cybersecurity experience and IAT certifications. Education: Bachelor's in Cybersecurity preferred.

Qualifications

• Two years of program-specific security engineering with Navy afloat/tactical systems or five years in general security engineering.
• Two years on Combat Weapons Systems (e.g., Aegis, SSDS, Zumwalt) experience.
• IAT Level II or III certification for ISSO/ISSE roles.

Responsibilities

• Author DoD Cybersecurity Assessment and Authorization artifacts.
• Document systems from a cybersecurity perspective using MS Word, Excel, Visio.
• Apply DoD and DISA STIGs and NSA recommendations.
• Plan and conduct vulnerability tests using ACAS and IA tools.
• Lead ISSO activities for specified information systems.
