Job summary

Deanna Nesbit & Associates, Inc., LLC is seeking a Service Technician to diagnose electrical and mechanical systems, perform repairs, and conduct thorough inspections on overhead cranes and hoists. You will spend significant time on client sites as a frontline representative of the company.

The role involves troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and communicating repair recommendations to customers, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 2–4 years of work experience as a service technician.
• Mechanical and electrical skills ideally learned from a trade school.
• Overhead crane experience not required, but familiarity with cranes/hoists is a plus.
• Welding aptitude would be a benefit.
• Ability to work overtime.
• Demonstrated positive attendance record.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair overhead cranes, crane controls, hoists, and drives.
• Inspect overhead industrial cranes and hoists.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance activities on equipment.
• Proper use of a man lift during service. Must be comfortable working at heights.
• Evaluate and communicate with customers recommendations requiring repairs.
• Communicate with management and sales about any additional needs the customer may have.
• Maintains time tracking per job and reports any product concerns or inconsistencies.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
