Job summary

Qualifications

• Four years of correctional or security experience with a government or private agency.
• Minimum age of 20 years.
• Possession of 30 college hours or a high school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
• Completion of required training and annual physical per DOC.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise correctional security functions on a shift.
• Direct security operations in a medium or maximum facility.
• Command the correctional emergency response team when needed.
• Schedule staff and maintain records and reports.
• Liaise with local law enforcement and ensure inmate counts and searches.
