Job summary

State of Oklahoma is seeking a Correctional Case Manager at Great Plains Correctional Center to handle routine social casework and offender re-entry planning. Positions cover classification, counseling, and coordination of services for inmates toward successful community reintegration.

Three levels describe progressively advanced responsibilities, including specialized program delivery and offender assessments. On-site work is required with a non-negotiable salary structure.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree as a base for Level I.
• Level II requires 2 years of correctional records management or social casework experience.
• Level III requires 3 years of correctional records management or social casework and related supervisory responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Determine offender security risks and program needs; prepare case history reports.
• Review offender records to determine progress and adjust classifications.
• Advise offenders on personal problems, employment, education, and re-entry needs.
• Deliver programs to assist re-entry into the community after release.
• Prepare reports such as parole summaries or presentence investigations.
• Coordinate offender transition plans with community resources and partners.
