Job summary

State of Oklahoma, Department of Corrections, Northeast Oklahoma Community Corrections Center seeks a Correctional Case Manager to perform routine social casework for offender classification and re-entry planning. You will assess needs, advise on resources, and coordinate services across partners to support successful community reintegration.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree with related experience; Level II/III may demand more advanced background in case management and counseling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; substitution with related experience considered at higher levels.
• Experience in correctional records management or social casework preferred for Level II/III.
• Proven interviewing and counseling abilities and strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess offenders' security risks and programmatic needs using interviews and assessment tools.
• Review offender records to determine progress and appropriate classifications or assignments.
• Advise offenders on personal, employment, educational and re-entry needs and resources.
• Deliver programs to aid successful re-entry after release from incarceration.
• Prepare reports such as parole summaries or presentence investigations as needed.
• Develop, monitor and adjust offender transition plans aligned with re-entry services.
