Job summary

State of Oklahoma, Lexington Assessment and Reception Center, seeks a Correctional Case Manager to perform routine social casework in offender classification and re-entry processes. The role involves evaluating offenders, advising on resources, and coordinating post-release services in a secure facility.

Multiple salary levels apply ($38,328.16–$46,664.80). This on-site position requires a bachelors degree and relevant experience.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree or higher required.
Experience in correctional facilities or social casework is preferred.
Knowledge of classification and inmate records management is a plus.

Responsibilities

Uses interview techniques and assessment instruments to determine offenders security risks and programmatic needs; prepares case history reports and recommends program assignments.
Reviews work and conduct records to determine progress or changes in assignments or classification.
Advises offenders on personal problems, employment resources, vocational skills, educational and training needs.
Delivers programs to assist in re-entry into the community after release.
Assists with or prepares reports such as parole summaries or presentence investigations.
Receives and processes mail to/from offenders.
Develops and monitors offender transition plans in line with re-entry programs and services.
Establishes collaborative networks with partners to provide support and post-release services.
