Jobot is seeking a Controls Engineer in Pocatello, ID to design, program, test, and commission industrial automation systems with Siemens PLCs. The role focuses on Siemens PLC programming, HMI/SCADA interfaces, and system integration from concept through startup, on-site.

You’ll collaborate with electrical and mechanical teams, document configurations, and support field commissioning while traveling occasionally to customer sites.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Controls Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on experience programming Siemens PLCs.
• Experience with Siemens TIA Portal, Step7, WinCC or similar software.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical and automation systems in an industrial environment.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for commissioning and customer support.

Aufgaben

• Develop, program, modify, and troubleshoot Siemens PLC control systems.
• Design and implement automation solutions involving PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, VFDs, and motor controls.
• Support system testing, startup, commissioning, and field troubleshooting activities.
• Collaborate with electrical and mechanical engineering teams to ensure successful project execution.
• Integrate PLC logic with operator interfaces and supervisory control systems.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, program backups, and revision records.
• Provide ongoing technical support during installation, startup, and service projects.
