Job summary

Amy's Kitchen is seeking a skilled Industrial Automation / Electrical Controls professional for on-site work in Pocatello, Idaho. The role focuses on programming and maintaining PLCs, HMIs, motor drives, and robotics across plant equipment.

You will read schematics, train plant electricians, and support installation, commissioning, and ongoing maintenance projects to ensure safe, efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Industrial Automation or Electrical Engineering Technology or equivalent.
• Experience with Rockwell PLCs, HMI, and electrical schematics.
• Ability to read P&IDs and panel layouts; strong safety mindset.

Responsibilities

• Programming, configuring, and troubleshooting PLCs and industrial controls.
• Modify and troubleshoot HMI interfaces and PLC software; provide design feedback.
• Install and troubleshoot motor drives, servo motors, and robotics.
• Interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams to install and repair panels.
• Provide technical support for installation, commissioning, and project validation.
• Evaluate equipment and suggest cost-effective improvements.
• Work with the Controls Engineer to standardize software across equipment.
