Job summary

Alliance Machine Systems International, LLC in Spokane, WA is seeking an experienced Controls Engineer IV to design, develop, and oversee electrical control systems for OEM machinery. The role requires hands-on PLC and HMI development, installation, and field support, with a focus on Siemens platforms.

You will lead software and hardware integration, perform risk assessments, create test plans, and collaborate with production, service, and suppliers.

Qualifications

• BSEE, BSCE, or BSME degree (or higher) and continuing education.
• Ten (10) or more years of OEM manufacturing experience.
• Siemens PLC and HMI platforms required; Allen-Bradley experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop complex electrical control systems architecture for OEM machinery.
• Lead PLC and HMI development, testing, and installation at our facility.
• Perform machine/process risk assessments and documentation per standards.
• Collaborate with production, service, and suppliers; support startup and commissioning.
