Dig Energy, Inc. seeks an experienced Mechanical Engineer to own core mechanical design, electro-mechanical packaging, and product development for geothermal installation systems.
The role is hands-on, with emphasis on fast execution, cross-functional collaboration, and delivering robust fabrication processes in a startup setting. Ideal candidates bring 5–15 years of mechanical engineering experience, SolidWorks proficiency, and familiarity with DFMEA/CFD/FEA.
Dig Energy is an early stage startup enabling affordable geothermal energy for heating, cooling, and refrigeration. We have developed and are deploying a radically inexpensive drilling method that can economically scale geothermal boreholes anywhere. Our initial focus is on commercial heating/cooling. We’ve raised funding from top investors and are now looking to refine our drilling system as we move through our first large projects.
Due to the hands‑on nature of our work, this is an on‑site role, and we’re looking for someone who can come into our office in Manchester, NH.
We are looking for multi-disciplinary and experienced engineers that can own and execute on core engineering challenges while building processes for quality and scale. The Mechanical Engineer will drive pieces of mechanical design, electro‑mechanical packaging, product development and manufacturing. This role will be heavily hands‑on engineering and execution focused.
