Job summary

State of California seeks Direct Construction Supervisor I within the Department of General Services to supervise, inspect, and coordinate work by skilled trades workers, outside contractors, subcontractors and suppliers to complete restoration and construction projects on time, within budget, and to the client’s satisfaction in compliance with Title 24 and related codes.

The role requires a valid California Driver's License, may involve travel, and participation in DMV Employer Pull Notice;

Qualifications

• Requires valid California Driver's License (CDL).
• Medical clearance prior to hire.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Supervision, inspection, and coordination of work performed by Skilled Trades workers, outside contractors, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure restoration, rehabilitation, alteration, and/or construction projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the client's satisfaction in accordance with applicable codes and standards.
