Job summary

Granite Construction is seeking an on-site supervisor to provide functional construction oversight, ensuring work aligns with design, budget, and schedule while maintaining safety and quality standards. You will coordinate resources, supervise craft crews, and collaborate with subcontractors to meet project objectives.

Minimum 5+ years in construction management or foreman-like roles, strong leadership, communication, and planning skills, and a valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalency.
• 5+ years in construction management and/or craft supervision experience (Foreman).
• Thorough knowledge of all aspects of construction (technology, equipment, methods).
• Excellent management, communication, organizational and planning skills.

• Comprehend and administer a safety program that provides for a safe work environment.
• Create and promote awareness of environmental policies and compliance.
• Foster a quality culture and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Supervise functional construction work to meet design, budget and schedule.

• Supervise craft employees for productivity and contractual performance.
• Assist project team in scheduling and implementing project Work Plans and procedures.
• Interface with on-site teams and subcontractors to resolve problems and achieve project goals.
