Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Construction Supervisor to lead on-site teams, oversee scheduling, and ensure safety and quality across multiple crews. The role requires managing materials, contractors, and costs while maintaining strong communication with the Site Manager and stakeholders.

The successful candidate will have a four-year degree in construction management or related field (or equivalent) and at least five years of supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• A four-year degree in construction management or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Five years of supervising a construction crew in grading, structural, electrical, or mechanical work.
• Valid driver’s license and clean MVR.
• Ability to supervise and present to large groups of employees.
• Proficient with MS Office and project management tools.
• Willingness to relocate to project site for the duration.
• May require contractor licensing qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site supervision of assistants, forepersons, and craft personnel to ensure safe, productive, quality work and controlled costs.
• Schedule labor, materials, tools, equipment, and subcontractors within the work discipline.
• Set direction for assistants and trade superintendents and enforce company policies and regulations.
• Develop frontline employees through onboarding, training, and mentoring.
• Coordinate and share resources with other projects and manage costs vs. estimates.
