Job summary

R.W. Mercer Co. is seeking a General Construction Superintendent to oversee on-site installation and construction activities. You will coordinate subcontractors and ensure work aligns with plans, specifications, and schedules, maintaining quality control on site.

The role focuses on safety, scheduling, and communication with the Project Manager and Field Operations Manager to ensure projects meet timelines and standards.

Qualifications

• Must have 5 years of construction or restoration experience.
• Clean driving record and ability to operate a motor vehicle.

Responsibilities

• On-site execution of all installation and construction activities.
• Coordinate and manage Subcontractor crews to ensure work follows plans and specifications.
• Review job schedule and cost breakdown with Sales, Project Manager and Field Operations Manager before start.
• Communicate scheduling needs for labor, carpenters, technicians, materials, equipment and subcontractors.
• Maintain site safety, conduct safety meetings, and ensure subcontractor accountability.
