Job summary

JBW Federal is a construction-focused firm seeking a Superintendent/Quality Control Manager/Site Safety Officer to oversee field execution on government projects. You will manage site operations, supervise the self-perform workforce, and coordinate with CSI trades while maintaining quality and safety programs.

The role requires strong leadership, plan-reading ability, and experience across pre-construction planning, scheduling, and safety compliance. Travel to various job sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Superintendent/Quality Control Manager/Site Safety Officer on government construction projects.
• Experience with RMS software.
• Minimum 5 years in the role on government projects.
• Proficient in Windows and related software.
• Willing to travel to multiple job sites.
• CPR/First Aid and OSHA 30 certifications.
• CQM certification required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily with Construction Project Manager.
• Update project schedule and three week lookahead.
• Coordinate subcontractors and support staff on site.
• Complete daily reporting requirements and catalogue site photos.
• Read/understand plans, specifications and contract documents.
• Construct work according to plans/specifications and contracts.
• Coordinate with government stakeholders on field activities.
• Monitor workmanship and ensure submittal compliance.
• Maintain and facilitate the Company Safety Program.
• Review subcontractor materials and workmanship.
• Facilitate the Company Quality Control Program.
• Maintain RMS and other government reporting programs.
• Track and complete punch lists as required.
• Assist with gathering O&M manuals and closeout documents.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
