Job summary

Fortis Native Group LLC is seeking a on-site Superintendent to lead government construction projects, including roof and HVAC replacements. You will oversee scheduling, layout verification, safety, and coordination of subcontractors to meet timelines and quality standards.

The role requires strong leadership, clear communication, and strict adherence to safety regulations. Experience with federal construction and Davis-Bacon reporting is preferred; the position is fully on site in the Panama

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance required.
• High School diploma is mandatory.
• 6+ years in commercial/industrial construction with federal experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and OSHA 10+ certification, CPR, and EM 385-1-1 readiness.
• Ability to read and interpret project drawings and specs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe on-site environment following OSHA standards.
• Coordinate subcontractors and vendors to meet schedule and quality.
• Provide daily progress reports with photos and documentation.
• Lead project meetings and communicate with stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with Davis‑Bacon and wage reporting requirements.
• Oversee layout work and verify installations per drawings.
