Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret plans, specs and technical docs.
• Strong verbal and written communication to internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills.
• Ability to calculate project quantities accurately.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.).
• Willingness to learn construction administration software.
• Commitment to SEH's Quality and Safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Participate in field activities on projects with varying complexity and conditions.
• Provide on-site representation for transportation projects, including documentation, testing, and survey coordination.
• Travel to project sites as needed to complete field responsibilities.
• Apply engineering knowledge to support construction duties.
• Assist with field observations to ensure conformance with contract documents.
• Maintain daily documentation of certified work and enter quantities into systems.
• Communicate with engineers, contractors, landowners, utilities, and public stakeholders.
• Support monitoring of contractor schedules and construction progress with senior staff.
• Assist in developing project punch lists and final documentation.
• Help prepare record drawings and maintain project files and digital records.
